I liked all the ideas, especially theatre mode. That being said though, the last one seems impossible.

Pretty sure the disc drive is read only, and once the DVD is "finished" in production you can't just rewrite on it at your choosing.
Battlerecoder is top on my list of updates, with YouTube integration. I wish I could record and share the epic moments. With respect though, I play on console and a fully integrated system like halo or even cod would be sweet
Speaking for myself and my xbox friends list I left cod after MW2 for bc2 and 2 friends followed, about 15 stayed. Picked up BO cause of my other friends and played it till about lvl 30 and went back to bc2. After the bf3 hype ALL my friends picked it up and played it. After mw3 came out most went back, however now I have 6 that play bf exclusively, yay no more randoms lol. Some moved but the majority still play mw3.
It may be a little rough right now but we are already past minority report tech. Can't wait to see what next-gen has for us.

Even without the hd textures the animation and lighting are still great. Amazing what DICE pulled off here. Can't wait to see it on a big screen instead of on my iPod lol. Wanna try it without just to see. Then immediately install HD pack.
I understand that it's your opinion. But you said it 'all I did is die running around looking for peeps to shoot' it bf not cod. If you were to run around a real battlefield you too would die fast. Bf series plays differently. You need a bit more wits about you and less sprinting about. It's not for everyone, that's why there are many styles of shooters. Try it again some time but take your time. Try moving with purpose and wait for the kill
MW will prob beat it in opening sales but bf3 might actually beat it over lifetime. When people get sick of MW3 and they will, bf will pick up the slack. I personally hope the cod crowd stays away. The immature racist children have halo and cod. Let the big boys play bf
No a recession doesn't stop tech, I agree. However we are talking about a global recession that has not been seen since WWII.
Tablets can play games but are not "game consoles". Pc's are constantly moving forward, tablets just being the next evo of pc. Sure ps3 is more than just a console but they lost hand over fist trying to do that. They will not make same mistake twice. That's why wii u isnt a huge leap from current ps3 or xbox. I really don't see a new xbox or ps4 anytime soon. Unless somehow the world economy recovers in the next year or two, it would be bad business to release a new console, given they don't go the way of the wii, with lower specs. Who can really afford to spend money on a new console right now. Given the fact that developers are trying to find new ways to push 5yr old tech as they are, we are stuck. Yes let's have 5 instead, spread out between 24 players so I can capture flags and fight 3-4 people per point. Hell better yet, i can avoid all the other players completely! It's been scaled so it doesn't feel barren. Go spend 1000$ on a nice pc and stfu!
If you get sniped in bf on a large map running towards the objective or where ever you're going it's your own damn fault. Don't run in a straight line in the open. Move from cover try to spot the sniper or flank them. This is not cod and you don't have to run out like a headless chicken. If you do you will be punished by an easy headshot.
Also found some damavand peak offscreen. However it's tdm so no base jump.

It is not 4 maps. DICE or EA haven't announced how many maps will ship. Just the 4 worlds that the maps will be on. 5 including dlc.
I try not to assume too much as I'm usually wrong, however it would be pretty safe to say that there will be more than 1 map per world.
My guess is probably 2-3 maps per with final count around 10-12 maps.
