@Vasto SuperHot, Driveclub, rec room, Eve: Valkyrie, Starblood Arena, Farpoint, Arizona Sunshine, Doom VFR... Just to name a few.
That may have been true in the first year, but not now. I currently own Skyrim, Driveclub, Arizona Sunshine, Eve: Valkyrie, Starblood Arena, Sports bar VR, Superhot, Rec Room (free, with crossplay), Farpoint with aim. Every single one of those games are more compelling than any flat screen game I have ever played. I cannot go back to "flat" games anymore. The games coming out are becoming more and more complex and immersive. Where you used to move a pixel around a flat screen,...
well, I don't have a gaming pc, as I am a console only gamer. Sooo, PSVR it is
I used to be excited about this game, but now I really can't play "flat" screen games anymore. Ever since I got PSVR I have been unable to bring myself to play any non VR games. It's like going from a board game to video games, or radio to tv. It is that compelling. So far everyone that I have talked to online in VR, have said the same. All of the new releases for PS4, that are not VR have completely fallen off my radar.
StarBlood Arena is awesome. PSVR owners are in for a treat.
Everyone of those games would work in VR. There are some really good 3rd person platformers, Moss coming out next year is a great example of one. And I would love to see a 1st person version of football.
I pretty much live in my PSVR.. 3-5hrs playtime at a time, daily. I have never gotten any motion sickness. Skyrim, DriveClub, Starblood Arena and every other demo out.
rec room is the most amazing "game" ever. Rise of Jumbotron, lazer tag, the social part of it. I spend hours in there. The first time you have to duck behind cover, while blind firing above your head as laser bolt fly all around... damn, words are inadequate to describe the experience.
DriveClub, 'cause all I play is VR now, and while it can be blurry, it kills it over GT sport's VR
No Blood and truth doesn't have full locomotion, its not quite teleportation, you have certain spots that you can walk or run to while still being able to strafe and aim. The controls actually look pretty decent. I'm more excited about Firewall, which does have full locomotion
I think now that most of the games coming out offer the option for full loco. After Skyrim and Resi 7 there is no reason not to.
@Neonridr TLOU2 is the only game that I am still interested in.
They did just revise the hardware with V.2. And how much more of a price drop do you need? $350 or less with 2 move controllers, camera, and game. I jumped in 2 week ago with the Skyrim bundle, and I can't go back to flat screen gaming anymore. VR has totally ruined me, in a good way lol.
It has PSaim support, no move support.
@XMessiah23x I actually feel completely opposite. I feel after playing in VR I can't go back to flat screen gaming anymore. I've been gaming since the late Atari early 8bit era, and VR feel like a whole new way to experience gaming. I have been getting burned out from conventional gaming, and after Skyrim VR, well I am all in. Probably helps that I never got VR sickness and can have long sessions in VR. I swear the first day I must have spent at least 6hrs in VR trying everythin...
Here is a personal experience had in Skyrim VR... Came across 3 giants in the field, They quickly start to bash my head in so I turn tail and run away. In my left hand I have my healing spell, in my right fire spell. As I instinctively run away from them, I without hesitation, take right arm and start to shoot fire behind me, taking quick glances behind me to make sure I am hitting him and getting away while simultaneously healing myself with the left, all while running downhill trying not...
Obviously you have never played it. Simply put amazing. I wish they would release ES4:Oblivion too
Goodbye $60 dollar game. Publishers will find a way to maximize profits, and will in turn just raise the prices of games. I don't see how MT or lootboxes constitute gambling. If you don't want to buy a lootbox then don't. I believe the backlash will be greater from the industry, and in the end gamers will lose in the end. Publishers have already been dipping their toes in a higher price point for games now since the X360 and PS3 days with collectors editions and deluxe editio...
I was very sceptical and came in with very low expectations for this game, but after playing the demo I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. The "Driving" physics are good and "feels" nice and tight with no input lag. However once you collide with anything whether it be a car or invisible wall the physics go out the window. It's like bumper cars out there. The gfx are good enough, but Forza still beats it hands down in the looks dept. As an online esport style r...
@alb1899 Yes I can compare the experience of DC VR vs Base ps4 game. Yes, the graphics are not as good, but the gameplay is intact. The fun level and immersion is off the charts. I have no problem with Skyrim Controls, as it has Full Locomotion and again the immersion and fun level is way above the flat version. Until you actually experience this, you will not understand. When you are facing down a Dragon in Skyrim, while he is towering over you shooting fire at you and your hiding behi...
