Most people tend to go online to get better deals. If store prices were competitive, then I'm sure shops wont close down. Items delivered to your doorstep cost less than you going to pick it up yourself? It doesn't make sense.
They had game shops in really stupid areas. In Harrow (London) there are two game stores about 400m away from one another, same goes with Brent Cross. Closing them down wouldn't really hurt many consumers.
It's a shame those 247 staff members are gonna lose their jobs.
Edit: Btw, they aren't converting their shops :

I wouldn't say they're 'relying' on them. Having third party exclusives doesn't mean they need them.
Anybody could've easily written the same thing or something similar by playing the demo. I just think it lacks a bit of extra depth.
True, but you wouldn't expect a 'media giant' to do something like that, would you?
Why do they even bother? One paragraph is clearly not enough to review a game.
I doubt many Americans would prefer it the other way around. Why would anyone want to pay 40% more?
Small Machine Guns? I always thought the S stood for sub.
MPK5/UMP45 for me. Those guns work best with my style of play.
Bioware, Level 5 and Bethesda are owning so hard in terms of overall game quality this gen. Square enix risk losing their crown to more awesome developers.
Tehcell, it's his word against yours, so I'm guessing you don't have any proof that it *wont* be exclusive?
Politicians don't seem to understand what they're moaning on about. Most of the stuff that's done in games that's 'repulsive' is done to the same level, if not worse in the movies industry.
That trailer reminded me of Haze.
Edit: The first haze trailer that was released and this trailer are similar, no?
My ps3 just froze on me like 10 times in 5 minutes, so actually, it's not fixed. Most of my friends are randomly signing off when playing mw2 aswell.
This...can't be true, right?
They bring in some new towns into the game, I'm sure it'll do fine. Something new to explore would definately be nice.
I really don't think that the song is that bad. I thought it fitted the video quite well. I can see why some people would prefer an orchestra playing though.
The voices were dubbed pretty well, lip movements looked realistic enough.
I think FF has always been more about the characters than DQ (with the exception of FFX-2 + FFXII. I couldn't care less about any of the characters in those games). DQ has been more about the exploring, the casinos, the dungeons; More about the environment in which the games are based.
I mean I know it's innovative and all, but like most people who I game with, I think it's more of a movie than a game. I'll probably rent to try, then consider buying it. From the gameplay I've seen though, it looks to be a nice experience.
This game sorta looks Zenithia-ish. I wonder if they'll relate it to that trilogy somehow...
It's not an online issue.
I doubt people are going to change their minds over this. Anybody who's decided on getting this game has probably decided their console of choice, and probably wont change it.
