Didn't the ps2 have the most craptacular games in it's first year... (and even then the ps3 already has better games in it's 1st 6 months then it's predecessor had in it's 1st 6 months) and we all know what happened with that...
There's developers that can't develop games games for the ps3 and complain about it's complexity.... then you have other who make announcement like these so nonchalant

THe PS2 is worth it's money even alone with God of War 2. At that price a nice gaming system. Together with the 360 premium cheaper then a PS3 and better gaming experience!
