but they're also actively looking to purchase studios like mojong, again just like sony does. Thy've clearly built up a relationship over the years and Microsoft sees the potential of the buying them out which Sony has done many times.

but they've backed it up with actual results. the user feedback site they actually take very seriously and these updates are proof of that. a lot of things people are voting up have been implemented already.
i doubt microsoft is just looking at minecraft as a game to sell "xbox ones"
they probably have huge plans for the franchise that even extends beyond gaming or else the hefty price wouldnt even be worth it.
