early reviews would have def hurt sales. they did the right thing.
lost interest in this game when i found out there would be micro transactions.

i did the math, EA said people put 245,000 hours into playing the early madden demo. You were allowed a maximum of 6 hours.
So that means around 40k people have ea access and played the demo. Again that's if each person used the maximum 6 hours. Many probably didn't so that numbers is probably a lot higher. And that doesnt even count the EA access members who didn't try it.
I mean by taking all that into account I can almost guarantee you there ...
ea access is making people buy more digital ea games on xbox one.
also does it count the digital copies of the bundle?
seems like these numbers are going to start mattering less and less as time goes on.
theres many things minecraft 2.0 could do to push the game forward
they could add even more mmo/rpg elements with bigger worlds and better server hosting.
@llxKonanxll i would agree with you. but i doubt microsoft is just buying it for "minecraft the game" but more so for the brand. minecraft can become a franchise. i think in the long run if they play their cards right they can get that money back.
and by dumping money into unproven first party studios that has a lot more risk, games like minecraft are once in a generation.
and i think its a good move for them especially to help push their products....
they announced 4 new first party studios not to long ago, so im not seeing your point.

however they can market it that way so people associate minecraft with xbox. the way dentiny is for ps4 and cod is for xbox
honestly if they release a minecraft edition xbox one bundled with the game. and market the crap out of it. i could see it flying off the shelves with parents getting something for their kids.
graphics can be argued, but forza gameplay always just seemed a step ahead for being the most fun racing game.
microsoft was really lucky to have these guys. you can tell they're very passionate about continuing to grow forza and make it better and better each game with new creative ideas.
drivatars was the best thing to happen so far to a racing game.
forza always make good trailers combining music and gameplay so well together,
always seem to hype you up.
ive seen the white one up close. and let me tell you, it looks very sexy. they used a glossy white for it, think ds lite.
you would not be disappointed.
this, and a lot of that is for marketing.
for me it all comes down to minecraft now.
if this deal goes through and they start to market that game like and associate it with the xbox brand.
that game could literally change the console war.
and i feel like xbox could just take off. without that. yeah the xbox will probably sell pretty well this holiday but making up 5m to catch up? doubt that's happening.
