Do you know how many ps3 games supported full 1080p last gen , from my count there's only a couple, FF13 being one of them.

They could just release it on PC as well, without having to give away the title of "console exclusive", its worked for Sony and M$ in the past, including timed exclusives.
I've tried a bunch of games up scaled to 4K on my 1080p tv just for the heck of it in the last week or so and the good news is that aliasing is almost completely gone in games by just using fxaa, the bad news though was that a few of the games locked up after about a half an our of play, but that could be down to several reasons, game engine, gpu drivers, vram limit or maybe even tv loosing signal due to changing between 60hz and 30hz, that happens quite a bit.
