Exactly, it was a product of its time, beautiful to look at, but an empty artificial husk of something resembling... a game I guess, but not a Final Fantasy and certainly not something I want to PLAY as a GAME
Super Bunnyhop made that argument about Watch Dogs 2, where not just in the way it effects the challenge in gameplay but also in a thematic way of how it looks when a young skinny hacker kid runs around shooting people and gunning down police when they are not portrayed as hardened criminals through the games story.
narrative vs gameplay is a tricky subject, especially when it comes to sandbox games where you just want to muck about most of the time but then you also need ...
SOUL, HEART, CHARM, PASSION
Is what you get in a Final Fantasy
And just like the THPS games the series gets brought back to life just to be killed of again.
So Fkn depressing when crap like this happens, hope the new Road Rash game fairs better, *fingers crossed*
So a cubicle with a door attached to it..
I wonder how typical Konami contract reads in the fine print section, something similar to Dollhouse I presume ?

Nah
The "banned"wagon seems like they can't get enough

I agree about burnout, Takedown is till my favorite in the series, its such a series of action packed racing that I enjoyed the immediacy of choosing your races and vehicles from menus and jumping in straight away much more enjoying.
I still have a soft spot for TDU games though, but they're a more relaxed experience IMO
Pandering jokers
There's probably going to be a secret purple ending
Too late

Haven't played or watch any gameplay footage as of yet, but I'll be honest when I say this and I know its going to sound/look weird, but I as a long time fan of FF, I feel resentful towards a lot of what I've seen so far, but then again I also have a feeling of some faint optimism towards it.
I believe any person who is a fan of something would want what they're a fan of to do well, but for the right reasons and not just to cater or try to cater to every...
