The Ultimate form of clickbait , gods greatest creation
I really don't get the pricing of some of these digital equivalent games, there's no overhead whatsoever, the only thing going for it is convenience, but even then IMO I feel like they're pushing they're luck a bit.
I'm talking about digital games in general btw, not just those on the xbox store.
@Manashake We have a Winner ! ;)
Yep, people forget that the ps2 ran on the power of David Cage, but its still the greatest console ever made, but I wonder if the graphics whores can figure out why that was ?
Teraflops,MHZ,Raaaams, Floating points...
For those of you guessing, I'll give you a hint, none of the above.
If it has an interesting story/world/characters/game mechanic I'll play it, I can easily go from blowing demon's heads of in Doom to managing a team in Football manager.
Variety is the spice of life after all, you should always try and experience new genres even if it takes you out of you're comfort zone, 9/10 times it will be worth it
So let me get this straight, people have to pay now to have weather effects in they're games ?
GTFO
Same happened with Fallout shelter, they'll keep us in the dark until the last minute, timed exclusives, they are great aren't they ?
I agree that they are going to be down on performance at how they are adding the concept of the whole "hybrid portable gaming" thing, they are sacrificing performance they can normally get by just making it a traditional form factor type console, but if they can strike the perfect balance between price, performance and efficiency it could be very worthwhile for them, getting both into the console and mobile market with one device/system.
Also "If" software ...
I really do hope both more game developers and hardware manufacturers support Vulcan in the future, I don't see any disadvantages in using this open source API that has the potential of improving performance on all modern platforms
Yep, Bethesda even got a money back guarantee because Doom was cracked within 3 months
EDIT
Sorry about commenting to quickly, my phone has a very narrow screen and I guess I was to eager and didn't bother reading the whole paragraph,... very embarrassed
Jaycptza@ I don't own a Titan-X and him owning or not owning a ps4 pro is not the point I was trying to make, it was his dismissive attitude he had towards a console with weaker hardware vs a console/pc with more powerful hardware and how it will hold back development.
So to make a long story short I was being Ironic and drew a quick comparison to the first thing that came to mind, comparing hardware considered powerful and show it as being weak by comparison, but mor...
Lol, also with added special double kill animations
You're ps4 pro is holding back optimization on my Titan-X, now go back in you're bubble
Peer to peer servers is the only way in keeping mp/online only games alive far into the future where we don't have to worry about server support shutting down from the publishers side and making our games completely useless, but they keep shying away from dedicated servers, wonder why
I guess we should be grateful that in the future publishers like EA will give us the opportunity to rent our own servers to play all our older online games.
From owning o...
They should make Jason able to go under water and also give the counselors some incentive to go snooping around the lake as well, maybe add some weapons and traps pickups or a way for one person to escape/call for help, can't see why there can't be multiple game modes, I think just holding out in a mode with a countdown timer would be interesting
Red demons, flying medusa heads and those falcons from the ninja gaiden series were the bane of my existence as a young gamer
Great game with a great soundtrack
