Those Valk's man
Well if they're planing on matching BL 2 on any level I'm sure its still a ways off, the longer its in the development I feel the better chance it has to meet our expectations
It had a slow death, system deserved better support
Just give me Garuda and Cracker Jack and I'm happy
Should be called the copycat genre instead of the battle royal genre at this point really, they both are imitations of much older games, the genre predates 2014 get a clue
I don't believe it..
What's with the weird disagree ratios in this comment section, did the N4G trolls form a secret fan club or what ?
You mean Android Wilson don't you ?
We already got deliverance back in 2015
Wtf are you talking about, being such a "big fan" please in lighten me, whenever were those games realistic looking or graphically demanding ?
1st party the only reason thats needed
Don't own an xb, but I do own a slim and some common sense in knowing that games I own outlasts the systems I own, BC also make sense for those who are interested in trading in they're old consoles for the newer iteration
One final thing, if BC wasn't so important and not a topic worth of discussing why has this comment section blown up as much as it did ?, because I only see you Sony Zealots here, who are in fact trying to dismiss and defend the absence of BC o...
What grown up games does MR Edge Lord play ?
No I don't think you can, otherwise you would have looked it into it by now if you had any interest in it
Watch the usual suspects be dismissive of the importance of BC on this one
With all the money they've made you'd thing they'd reinvest some of it back into hiring some competent UE4 coder's to better optimize and bug fix the game, but I guess just like the music industry, if you become popular enough then why bother, but then again those wannabe imitators don't have that much of a yard stick to go by in copying and even surpassing it eventually
Its a laughable statement, the videogame industry wouldn't be as big as it is today without SP
games
MP games will come and go, but the memorable story driven classics of videogames will always be found on the SP side of gaming, which you can always come back just like. Good book after many many years
Gaas doesn't last
I think max payne came out around the same time, I remember playing it along with all the games you mention during my grade 8 summer break
Was my PS3's send off title, no better way to go
There is no dilemma, there will always be studios/publishers like NordicTHQ, Paradox that will happily take up the mantle from the bigger publishers who would abandon SP for gaas and eventually fill that gap in the market, where there's tons of room for mid tier sp gaming franchises to grow in and even develop into AAA, just like where companies like CDPR, 4A and GSC, people behind the Metro and Stalker games started
