"souls like" has become a genre defining term, a market specifically catering to gamers who enjoy these type of games, the type of experiences in gaming we haven't had in a very long time, so if they can refine, improve and be inspired to improve the soulslike, then they should go for it,and im not just talking about fromsoft, the Nioh dev's have as well, as i feel they've helped elevate the genre even further, its inspiration that drives creativity after all
