And yes, he can do anything he wants in his spare time, like anyone else. It doesn't make playing a gaming during 100 hours any less needlesly stupid and dangerous.

I totally love my Wii U! One thing (among so many others) I'm so thankful for is the headphones jack in the gamepad.
SolidDuck, one thing you seem to forget is that the Wii U graphics are comparable (sometimes arguably better) to those of the PS3 or the XBOX 360........AT LAUNCH.
Which means that the multiplatform games' graphics those two other consoles managed to produce at the end of their life cycle, the Wii U did on Day One.
Personally, I'm a big fan of Offensive Combat: nice, straight-forward, funny, controls well.
That game makes me wish all games had a dedicated "teabag" button.
I'm right there with you. Achievements are useless to me. They're nothing but a gimmick to convince people they accomplish something by playing videogames. I play them to have fun and I don't need any kind of reward for that.

I don't understand why people complain about the Talons and the Crimson Fury's. The Talons take ages to sacrifice the leader so it gives you plenty of time to get to your base and blow them up.
As for the Crimson Fury's, yes, they are speedy but if you don't stray too far from your base, you can dispatch them easy.

Now that jets have confirmed, the only other extra I'm asking for is some kind of 'Theater mode' so I can record all those great moments I've only been able to experience in a Battlefield game.

Same here. I had pre-ordered it but when I read that it wouldn't work with WiiU games, I cancelled it right away. It's a shame 'cause I really dig the design.
