I would have loved to see them release horror icons costumes like Freddy, Jason, Chucky, Pinhead, etc.

I love the Mario franchise to death but yeah, for creativity and diversity's sakes, Nintendo needs to let Mario rest for a while, only to come back stronger. Imagine playing a new Mario game for the first time in 5 years! Nintendo would knock everybody on their ass.
How about that: to each their own.
This movie is going to be a riot! I think it's great how they went for the stop-motion style for the characters. I'm disapointed though that game based on the movie isn't going to be open-world. I love those Lego games.
I hope they release more HD remakes but they REALLY have to come up with new IPs and fast. I felt so dissapointed by the last Nintendo Direct when I saw the 2 Mario-themed wiimotes and the new Kirby game. I thought to myself: "Is that really what you can come up with?".
I love Nintendo and probably always will but I'm not oblivious to their faults. They play it way too safe.
That's one indie title I cannot wait for.

A lot of people have a beef with remakes but me, I like them. I wish they would give the same HD treatment to the Metroid Prime Trilogy.
If they would have given 26 extras lives, I would have bitten but at 25, no way!
