I just saw someone the other day who had all the Bad Company (1) trophies that I'm working on unlocked all at the same time, date, etc. and I had no idea how that could happen until I read this article. I thought maybe trophy support had been added and it awarded them retroactively or something.

Its great that no one will support Activision now! Annual re-hashes and sequels in the form of guitar hero and CoD didn't do it...horrible support until this point for the Wii (relative to other consoles, not other publishers) didn't do it... and this is of course assuming that you people would be inclined to buy ANY Wii game in the first place.
I cannot believe people actually came to this article to bash the Wii and Activision. Yes, every one or thing that has ever been hacked has nothing at all to do with the HACKER...wake up people.
I don't know- I was really looking forward to this game at E3 last year but the two pieces of news since (2-player Wii support, not 4; multiplatform) leave me feeling slightly betrayed after rushing out to buy The Conduit. At least I traded it in when the value was still high.
I have a PS3 now but I would have much preferred this remain a Wii exclusive than join the already inundated FPS market on the HD consoles.

I want The Grinder, although the announcement that 4-player support is now 2-player has me down in the dumps. Hmm, why can't we just get L4D on the PS3?

I think 4 player is out the window and they went for two player online and two player local. I'm still looking forward to the game but the lack of four-player co-op is definitely disappointing. It would be cool if there were AI teammates running around to fill out the roster to 4, either 3 when playing solo or 2 when playing multiplayer. In addition to said AI teammates, it would be cool to have the option to turn them on or off/ ...
Yeah but what is the increase to? "50+ level baddies" could mean level 55 or level 100. I would like to see more than a 10 level increase, perhaps to make up for the lack of increase in past DLC (which I admittedly have not played yet, although a cap increase would certainly have been an incentive to get them sooner).
I would really love to see this game release outside of Japan although I find it unlikely given past Nintendo-published mature titles like Disaster: Day of Crises and Fatal Frame IV (which I plan on importing given the non-modified-console patch that was recently made available).

I got a ps3 over the holidays and have been really digging on it and enjoying the games of the past few years I haven't been able to play. However, I also got Wii Sports Resort and it is hand down one of my favorite gaming experiences ever. Swordfighting Showdown is the ultimate. I find it hard to want to play anything from my Wii library with the shiny (matte) new black box sitting right there but I am so excited for this game. please be good please be good please be good.

I've been watching videos of the beta while I download the achingly slow update (in-game of all things- why didn't it download from the XMB?) and it looks and sounds like an "ugly" Modern Warfare albeit with lots of people. Actually it kind of looks like Combat Arms, a free-to-play PC FPS I played for a little bit.
Wow this update is a joke. Oh well, I guess I'll flip the tellie over to the Wii and finish Crystal Bearers.

The Wii online is great save for the albeit limited friend code system. I wish there was a way that parents could choose to block their systems or not- like the digital cable box. That way the default is to have your console is exclusive to people you know like it pretty much is now, so that pedophiles and other people Nintendo doesn't like can't see little Janie's name in Animal Crossing- but I could still add people directly from the game in Modern Warfare Reflex.

Modern Warfare Reflex absolutely should have made it onto this list- it is a great game and we are even getting updates through Activision after the games release which is awesome that they are supporting the game in that way after its release when they totally and utterly failed before its release.
Better to spend your cash on Modern Warfare Reflex than HoD or Dead Space in my opinion. Or get all of them like me.
In all honesty, Modern Warfare 1 and 2 have awful story lines. World at War has Modern Warfare dead-beat in that respect- it is much more engaging emotionally. Medal of Honor has always focused on telling authentic, character-driven stories. I'm pretty sure most if not all of the games are based on true characters and/or events. CoD: Modern Warfare seems to really have a tongue-in-cheek, Dr. Stranglove-ian tone and portrayal of war.

...but I can't really notice a difference between these shots and what I play on my medium-sized SDTV. The game looks amazing. Period.
That being said, I might be getting an HDTV around the holidays and I play the Wii a lot, are there any recommendations as far as TV specs and cables that you guys can offer that work best with the Wii?
