What's the mistake? Catering to a casual fanbase and making buckets of money?
Sorry, I just don't see it. Realistic by videogame standards maybe, but still lacking realistic details and textures. The wide angle shots look a lot better though- but detail shots and water effects are pretty much mediocre.
Looks nice and all, but get back to me once you start adding particle effects and crowd/animations.
I guess I'm a bit older and people might disagree with me, but the younger generation have no idea what they are missing.
SE has just released crap after crap every year that I feel this new generation of gamers just got accustomed to playing mediocre games, especially in the RPG genre. So they settle for 'XV and XIV looks good'. And they might be great games, who knows- but thats not the point I'm making. I feel like playing these new games doesn't have ...
CGI looking good but holy jaggies batman! Gameplay looks like last gen stuff. Anybody played this yet? Thoughts?

All I'm going to say is that I have both Platinums on Uncharted 1 and 2.
I could not get past 5 hours in U3... It just didn't draw me in like U1 and U2- it felt tedious playing it.
I understand that's just my opinion, but I have to agree with the list.

Didn't read the article, however, I'd rather they not waste their time remastering a game and actually work on something new. ZOE3 comes to mind.

I'm not really into mech games (although I have played them before). In my opinion, ZOE is the best mech game period- probably because it doesn't play like one. Even its graphics for a ps2 games blew anything of its kind out of the water and to this day I think its one of the more beautiful games out there.
That ZOE HD trailer made me cry. I have such nostalgia for this game- it truly is one of my favorites. Incredible song too.
It makes me sad, however, that it seems that this HD remake is the only thing were gonna get at E3. I truly hope that this will be very successful, and force Konami's hand to make a next gen ZOE.

Shame there is still nothing on a ZOE3. Although, with this release maybe it'll push Konami to make another.

Not only will people stop buying co consoles, people will stop buying NEW games as well, it's a vicious cycle. I really hope they don't go this rout.
They need to start realizing videogames are an impulse buy, you take away those shopping for old used cheap games, you take away potential buyers from buying new ones too.
