No one knows for sure, those are separate theories. It could be that Gray Fox had a damaged eye but the sorta' "advanced" eye-patch helped his eye somehow to still see some things, after all in MGS1 his eye was white and not lost entirely...
It could also be that later in the game, their enemies discover that he truly wasn't Big Boss, and they do something to his eye with vengeance for trying to fool them. No one can know for sure, what I know for sure is th...
@Z501 - Ok so Null met Big Boss before in Portable Ops... what's the big deal concerning the video & MPO? I didn't say Gray Fox always had his right eye missing, otherwise it would contradict with the eye-patch/scope theory... If he copied Big Boss' appearance, than the eye patch would be there as a fake and not because he truly lost his eye (back then that is), but something could truly happen to his eye later in the game... Maybe during the battle against Solid Snake himself...
My guess is that the masked man shown in the Phantom Pain's reveal trailer (Ishmael) - who already was voiced by Kiefer himself, will also have Kiefer's face modeled for the character... The article states that for the majority of the MGS characters: "The goal is to achieve photorealism, so they are taking people from real life." Leading to the reason why his face is being covered with bandages...
Even though in the recent Konami Pre-E3 show, they showed Kiefer's...
Why is everyone saying he looks too much like Sam Fisher? MGS was the first and original stealth action game and you could clearly see the Thermal/NV goggles on Snake in MGS1's menu, so what's the big deal now? :P

It's obvious that the mysterious female character from MG: Rising is Sunny.
First screen of Snake from MGS5 aka Metal Gear: Ground Zeroes! :D

Sure total trophies including platinum and hidden are at a total of 34 :)
Hidden trophies alone: 15
I have the Japanese version of the game and I can confirm that the patch is indeed Live. I installed it and the smoothness in gameplay (frames per second) has increased drastically when compared to the original release.
They removed the Metal Gear Online option from the menu and added an Install option.
Yeayyy to the trophies finally!! :D
I hate to say it, but i'm afraid i'm gonna have to do so... The writer of this article is Ignorant and is MADE OF PURE CRAP, he surely has NO IDEA what MGO is and I'm 100% sure he's a Sloth-ranked noob who barely played the game. Just because YOU SUCK at MGO doesn't make the game bad!!
The game had everything and was filled with a lot of original ideas - just to name a few: Very detailed character customisation, a wide variety of maps, very cool and original game m...

Hope this leads to a better online game by Kojima - could be the NEXT Metal Gear Solid title teased on Kojima Productions' website. Hope the truth will be revealed @ E3. :)
looks great! :)
Could be that KP is planning to make a bigger team, look at Ubi...
It's being developed with Kojima's new engine; The Fox Engine, which is intended for development for multi-platform.
I think the Dog represents the HOUND. Personally i think that this is going to be a continuation to Peace Walker, following Big Boss' events in establishing FoxHound and recruiting Solid Snake and Gray Fox. Judging from the requirements on KP's official website; this title is going to be developed for the PS3 and Xbox as well... :)
May he R.I.P, condolences to his family.
My bet is either God Of War IV as it was rumored to be announced this February, or Assassin's Creed 3; which was also rumored to be announced before the fiscal year end (March 2012).
Here's a video that will help you remember the MGS franchise! ;)
Thanks a lot! :)
