You're not in the minority dude, trust me. I wanted a sequel too, and there was this one dude who was apparently set to write it until it kinda faded into vaporware and it wasn't heard of again. Can't remember what the article but he apparently teased that he was writing the sequel with a trailer of dante's inferno or something a long those lines.
Technically it's a trilogy so Purgatory and Paradiso would be the last two. I loved the game in its own right ...

the argument isn't about how good it looks. It's what people who fanatically favour the xbox one have been boasting that's being ridiculed I believe. Especially after the epic bashings PS4 titles have been getting from the likely lot because of their native resolutions and combined frame rates

I think you'll find it's more of a preference than a necessity. Been through Ps1, 2 and 3 without any problems with the stick layout. I'm sure many others have similar views. I think the whole of the DS3 design was particularly uncomfortable for some which resulted it in getting some pretty harsh reviews. But the DS4 hasn't changed the traditional stick layout and it's getting some great feedback.
