if you think about it though, while not strictly true he's kinda complimenting the PS3 there. Even as close to the end of this gen the PS3 is sporting some immense visuals with its exclusives.

I've never been THIS excited for a Killzone game.
That initial February reveal really did it for me when they open that ship door and you see that next gen city. Never forget.

no one backtracked on anything, and activision hasn't proved anyone wrong. I've not seen a statement yet saying the rumour is false, just that the graphics are great and better than the 360s on XB1.

It takes a simple tweet to debunk simple information like this "Both versions of COD: Ghosts are 1080p res", that simple. The way people are avoiding it is increasingly telling.
CBOAT is one guy/(girl?)and is a insider for MS not Sony, hence no Sony info.
Multiple other insiders seem to be in the same vein. They lined up the nail, CBOAT was just the hammer.

From all the development from yesterday all arrows are on IW and MS to confirm and all they've done is dance around it. It's pretty much confirmed but I'm waiting for that curve ball to break the internet if it turns out to be the reverse. I mean I prefer the Sony side of things but holy shit that would send internet seismic tremours along all of the wifi.
yup, once devs tap into that gpgpu potential things will start to fly indeed! GG said they only scraped the surface, I like to think of an analogy of someone slicing the very tip off the top of a pyramid made out of hardware potential..leaving the rest behind to play with for the upcoming years and on wards! :P.
