<hype>
Will be interesting to see how this event goes down after all that's come out in the last 2 weeks. Hopefully we get confirmation that they're running on retail kits.
Definitely not, would be a silly business move. Microsoft's wealth is what is keeping the Xbox division afloat!
So much agree.
Precisely. Most people who have bought a PS4 are more than arguably still snapping up late gen PS3 exclusives as they've been coming out in spades with GT to drop as late as December. Wouldn't be surprised if there's a few more gems to come in 2014.
Late gen exclusives to appease the massive PS3 install base who aren't necessarily jumping the Gen gun in November gives off a great gamer mindset and should hopefully convince you that it has only just begun on t...
This^, especially that last paragraph lol...and pretty much sums the contrast seen with the last few years of the xb360 and the XB1s line up in comparison to the PS3s continued strong first party support and 'supposed' lack luster PS4 line up.
"During launch, when you are trying to get features out, it is a bad idea to re-engineering things. MS already had to do this with going back to stone age physical discs."
Their vision was flawed, accept it. Think about all those people who wouldn't have bought the console because they'd have to wait weeks to download 50GB games. 2020+ the original XB1 may have been more viable.
lol it's come down to the secret sauce scaler.
Also that's true if you're still using the Digital Foundry comparisons to make judgement, but with every other person who did direct capture...then nope. :).
Ouch, kinect holding on to 10% of the GPU and the horror story of the XB1 OS must be a massive headache for devs.
Let's hope they sort it. That's 10% of an already weaker GPU though that must be the real clincher :/
@ju laying the smack down, damn! +bubbs
And georgenoob doing some D-class one bubble trolling as per n4g.
It's kinda true though, if the launch line up for the XB1 is so amazing, why isn't it doing it any favours? PS4 seems to be coping extremely well with a supposed "weaker" launch line up and suffering from unfortunate delays...and still it's doing extremely well. The PS4 is selling itself pretty much.
I think it's always better to start churning out new IPs instead of constantly going after the certain few. Sony's game library is very diverse for it.
But I agree with you I'm definitely up for U4 and TLoU2
Probs in like 2015/16 though. There's a whole console life cycle to think about and you don't want it to stagnate with the same things do we now? :)
Hicken it's called the meme "Sony Too!". Where everything bad that Microsoft does apparently Sony will do it too :P.
Started off waaaay back in feb with the DRM, and used games and look how that turned out ;).
Not like it was ever a big issue...just an odd choice issue.
You'll be playing games mostly on your PS4 for the most part.
Glad to see Sony listen and step up to deliver.
@people who replied.
You guys call it a sad or poor solution but it's a solution...lol I was making a suggestion, albeit it's not good for people who have sold their ps3s or never had one to begin with.
Many features were patched into the PS3 later on, and at the moment I'll just be bothered about playing next gen games on my PS4 rather than mp3s. Hell even my bluray player can accept USB drives now to play movies off of.
They gave you ga...
You could also just keep your PS3 around for that sort of thing.
When I thought about it and how weird not to have such simple things as mp3 playback on it I also tried to remember the last time I used my games console to play music from....anddddd that was, well, never lol.
I'm more bummed about not being able to slip in a pen drive and watch an .avi etc. Hope they sort that out...but again still got my PS3, so won't matter too much. :)
*tips Stetson*
Man that scene in Trans where she's bending over the hood.
Remembered forever......for science obviously.
Pretty much admitting they'll just keep buying up games this gen because their first party is pretty dwarfed.
Extremely sad mind set, but true I guess :/
I expect to see much more money hatting from Microsoft.
That's a real big eye opener when it's put together like that sheesh.
From that perspective it's a huge leap.
Definitely this, even if it was sly haha.
The video reviews should definitely speak for themselves so they won't need to ride this home. The BF4 reviews already did it, don't see why COD shouldn't either. Hopefully no botched work from Digital Foundry this time to create fake parity.
