I think some where they said they weren't necessarily aiming for high end graphics peformance either lol. Not that the PS4 does either compared to PC, but on a console comparison...hmmm...that XB1 GPU could be a problem.
These articles are purely for the casual audience I think. Any hardcore gamer is going to go nuts on a new console especially after an 8 year long gen, same with the XB1. With over 1mil in north America alone, it's safe to say there's a healthy gamer consumer who thinks the PS4 is essential right now. :P.
Can't wait for the round off this week. It's been a funny few episodes. Game of Thrones and console wars, couldn't have had a better marriage :P.

How is it spin when what he said is practically inevitable? MS's worldwide launch is crushed between two major PS4 launch events/dates. XB1 has a week of the good life in EU to make it all lovely and warm for when the PS4 moves in. ;).
That is considerably selfish to be honest. lol. Not because people don't have internet as good as other people but it's a complete disregard to the understanding of some countries state of infrastructure. Incredibly nonsensical business move it would have been by MS.
Just laughing at what the sales, hype and public opinion would have been if the original XB1 vision would have followed through. It would have gotten absolutely slaughtered by PS4, without contest or quar...

They should give Titanfall away on the month or month after it releases with games with gold. That would sell a crap load of consoles. This of course will 100% not happen.

If you think about it, the PS4 launch is like a perfect pincer movement in regards to hype and marketing. Let me explain seeing as you're familiar with with:
PS4 launches in US, hype & advertisement builds for US launch, PS4 launches in US, hype dies down.
XB1 launches worldwide a week later, PS4 hype dies down, XB1 hype 'ryses(lol)& advertisement, XB1 launches 'world wide', hype dies down.

Before you jump to conclusions, you should watch his videos on his unboxing of both consoles. He openly admits he was a Xbox fanboy through this gen and for his good personal reasons. His views on both of the consoles have been interesting to hear :).
