If I'm honest I highly doubt we'll see major third party exclusives on PS4. I think Sony would rather sink money into their first party instead.
Sony has the advantage of having a wealth of studios.
Microsoft has the advantage of having wealth to buy exclusives.

I was under the impression that the 300,000 servers(which may or may not be all used for the Xbox division, Thunderhead sectioned off especially for XB1 etc), would be one of the key elements to the XB1 architecture and frame work that would have Sony clammering at the bottom of the hill to keep up.
That's certainly what these comment sections were rife with earlier this year.
I give it a couple of months before both XB1 and PS4 sales are halted and....miraculously....things that closely resemble the PS4 and XB1 suddenly go on sale lol.

Xbox needs Microsoft; Microsoft doesn't need Xbox. That's how rich they are and the division has never really made profit.
So all in all, the monies may not matter as much if they decide to spin it off.
For a struggling company(in comparison to MS) Sony has managed to some how best a rich company on pure legacy alone not to mention a focused message and goals.
Damn, some of you are REALLY having a hard time accepting the XB1 is not the most preferred console this gen and that Sony had the better plan all along. lol. Must have been a painful half year for you.

Interesting...Not sure whether this is a bad move or not. If the Cell has been unlocked at the Japan studio then...I'll feel better about it but if they're gonna have to fight to get it running on the old hardware then they might as well just move it across to the PS4, surely it's less of a headache.
