For the state people predicted Japan to be in this seems a lot quicker than expected. Definitely good news.
I think the most obvious point people seem to over look is that THERE IS A DISPARITY. The fact that there is a difference between machines is the reason of the drama, not the resolution itself.
Hence why it's still shocking when the PS4 is doing something @900p but the Xb1 is doing 720p
If they were always the same res and frame rate despite the fact some games may be 900p, 720p or 1080p it wouldn't be that much of a big deal.
