That's how it goes, basically, Skylanders was a Pokemon Rumble clone with toys and now Nintendo wants to cash in some of that.
And why is that? I don't think Sony would risk releasing a game that require as many resources on a console that will have nothing but a fraction of the established market share of the already available and cheaper PS3. Besides, they wouldn't advertise a game like Drive Club or whatever it's called on PS4 just to have it overshadowed by Gran Turismo.
