Most people play online and they are playing Fortnite, a game that doesn't require PS+. The drop makes a lot of sense.
Can't really compare MvCi to UMvC3 until they make a 2nd version. That being said, vanilla MvC3 had around 38 characters. I think they messed up by bringing back characters from the previous game that no one asked for. Ghostrider, Hawkeye, Spencer, Chris (Leon is way overdue), Frank West, Nemesis (Perfect opportunity for Jack Baker). Just to name some. Roster doesn't have to be big if it boasts quality. MvCi does not.
Some things I didn't like but overall the idea is pretty awesome. I love me some SF2.
Have you tried OpenRCT2 yet? Even has netplay.
It is common knowledge that PC games perform better than their console counterparts. That in no way shape or form excuses the PC version from being poorly optimized.
I get it, you like PC, I like PC as well but I'm not going to sit here and pretend like it isn't poorly optimized just cause consoles can't hit 60fps.
A $600 dollar GPU unable to max out at 1440p 60fps is a sure sign of poor optimization.
RCT was a beast in the late 90s/early 00s. All downhill after that.
When I first heard about the old school version I thought they meant the one that was from 2001-2003, the original. I was heavily disappointed to find out the old school version was actually RS2. Still a cool thing for Jagex to do. Wish more legacy mmorpgs existed on an official level.
They really love to put minimal effort into these limited edition PS4s. Just white and red and the only blue comes from the light bar?
"plus emulating the bigger AAA titles will not come for many years. "
Willing to bet it will happen way sooner than later.
It wasn't that long ago I gave PSO:BB a shot on a private server. Was pretty good.
RuneScape was my first one back in 2001. I remember hearing about that Dreamcast Phantasy Star a couple years later and really wish I had played it. I think I would have absolutely loved DAoC during its prime if I knew about it.
I swear they say this every generation.
N4G y'all!
So don't buy any and allow others to fund the game for you.
This is called free to play done correctly. They can charge whatever they want for cosmetics as long as they never give you advantages. This keeps an even playing ground regardless of whether someone spent $1,000+ or no money at all. Stop complaining.
Lol, what? I had no idea this game exists.
That mindset exists in every multiplayer game. Have you even tried solo queue on League? Easily worse than anything a BR game can produce when you have "solo people" playing team games. Now THAT is toxic. And I think BR games can be pretty damn competitive. Just because there is a sea of casuals doesn't mean there isn't people playing competitively on the highest level.
I'm still waiting for Nintendo to make a model that isn't focused on the handheld aspect. Sure, you can plug it into the TV but you still payed for it as a glorified handheld. Cut the price in half and release a model only to be hooked up to TVs, similar to the Vita TV. That would be a day one for me.
