4.5 isn't THAT bad... it's bad, but not diabolical.
But the most powerful isn't always the one that wins, as is evident here. I'm sure loads of people WANTED the 500+ colours and the whole turbografx-16 library on the go. But it just turned out not to be.

Well obviously, sell it dirt cheap and it will be a hit. But have you SEEN that thing? There is no way they can make that for under $300, unless they take the stance of "let's just get this into households at a loss and then make our money back on software"
