But it's a name that will obviously draw comparisons. Being named after a well-known anything (person, character whatever) can plague you. She would automatically be associated with games but she might not even liek them. I'm not having a go at him for doing it, I think it's awesome. I'm just wondering about the ramifications. Like we can all agree that people called "Snoop" or "Diddy" are just stupid.

I'm a bit annoyed that one of the summer of arcade games is being wasted on what will most likely be a rubbish Kinect game.

Valve have made a game (or expansion pack) in:
'98, two in '99, '00, '01, '03, two in '04, '06, '07 (which was Orange box so that's more than one), '08, '09, and '11.
Not only is that regulrity but that's also 13 games in 14 years. That's also counting Orange box as one game.

He's not saying it wasn't a bad press conference, just picking out there are things they could have done better. No press conference is ever going to be perfect.
You do realise i they did that it would have been pretty much be the best press conference ever? Announcing the 360's two biggest developers moving over on top of all that other stuff? Aiming a bit high I think :P
I thought it was a really good press conference actually, much better than Microsoft.
And on top of that, no new IPs, those two good exclusives was another Halo and another Gears
