You have no idea at how right you are. Lead free soldering is the death of a lot of electronics this generation. Leaded soldering is the reason why the PS2, PS1, Gamecube and original Xbox were pratically bullet proof. The only issue you may have had with either of these consoles, was maybe a disc read error or something. But even that was very minute. Motherboard problems due to lead free soldering has dramatically increased.
The thing is when every electronics company release sales numbers. They are talking about sales to the retailers. The problem is, is that they are often never specific in saying that. In order for retailers to get consoles, they have to actually buy them straight from Sony, Microsoft or who ever. And then they sell them to the customers.
I'm not sure if you live in the US or not. But here in the U.S. Kevin Butler's commercial about the PS move is on Tv every single day. You know. The one that starts off.

I dont know where you got your information from. But you need to check your sources. Because move has sold just around the 3 million mark so far and is on track to be around the 6 million mark in january. Secondly, I dont care what Kinect sells, if it doesnt start showing any big name games, then its already a failure. Games and the actual usefulness of the device are the two main things that should debated. Not sales figures. Its not like that if Kinect or move sell 10 million in one day tha...

Um. They both focus on multiplayer (Sony and Microsoft). Between these two, multiplayer has never been an issue.
Pre xbox360, Everything was leaded soldering. The good news though. Is that there are repair shops that are starting to learn that the problem is the lead free soldering. So there are some places that use lead soldering when re balling the chips back to the motherboard/main board.
Even HDTVs, laptops, PCs, and cellphones have the same issues. And it all comes down to lead free soldering on the main board.
Its just because its cheaper in price. Unfortunately, thats how us americans buy our products. If two products are similar, we just would rather buy the one thats actually cheaper in price, instead of buying the better "bang for your buck" deal.

Actually lead free soldering is the biggest enemy for the PS3 and the 360. This generation is the first generation they started doing lead free soldering. Notice how the PS2 and older consoles have not had as much motherboard problems as the 360 does and certain other electronics that was just recently released. Its definitely not because of dust. Leaded soldering is far superior and stronger than lead free...
Japan has a Toshiba model that doesnt require 3D glasses. They just haven't released them to the rest of the world just yet.

Well I guess I'll be buying this game off of ebay. I do not support developers who choose to show favortism towards any platform because of the almighty buck. If they make a multiplatform game, then it should be supported equally on all platforms. Everyone should get the same quality content, at the same time.

The problem with this is that its not doing anything new. Nor is it even showing any hardcore games just yet.
Eventhough I cant see the list due to the "Error 404 problem". Metal Gear Solid on the PS1 should be on that list. The Metal Gear Rex boss fight is legendary in my opinion.
