The fact that MGS4 is any where near this list, makes this list automatically fail. MGS4 is easily in the top 10 list of best games to come out this generation probably even top 5. MGS4 is a perfect example of when a developers actually cares about quality. And its also a perfect example of when a developer pours his heart and soul into a game.

I don't see how they lack any marketing force especially since I see PS move and GT5 commercials on TV every single day.
I think its safe to say that Gran Turismo 5 and MAG is heavily underrated. For whatever reason, the PS3 is no longer getting respect with ratings anymore. Its like, they are ashamed that Uncharted 2 was rated so high or something.
GT5 was the best game to come out this generation next to Metal Gear Solid 4, and Uncharted 2. Seems like some people will continue to fight against the PS3 until the bitter end.

If you are seriously asking this question then must be blind, deaf, or don't own a TV what so ever. Because last night, I saw not one not two, but 3 Gran Turismo 5 commercials all with in one hour. I mean seriously people, this is not 2006 anymore. Sony advertises their games just as much as everyone else does now.

It was no surprise to me at all considering that they had a 250$ console that was up against a 400$ and 500$ 360 and PS3.
I'll probably get 1000 disagrees for this. But anyway. Casuals in my opinion arent real gamers. Casuals are people that got influenced by a gimmick. IMO
Is the 360 really truly in second place? Just doesnt seem like it considering that the PS3 has outsold the 360 every year since the PS3 has been released.

In games like Need for speed, you are driving replica cars. In Gran Turismo, you are driving the real thing.

No it wasn't a joke last year because Uncharted 2 was clearly the best game last year.
Its not just a racing game. Its a simulator. It simulates actual real life cars and real world performance. Every car in the game sounds and performs just like it does in real life. Its a great game for people that love sports cars. The Gran Turismo franchise has been doing this since 1997.
I agree. GT5 have been completely disrespected by the media and reviewers. Good thing real gamers know a great game when they see it.
