Actually Pripyat is(was?) the town outside Chernobyl, so imo it's a really fitting name. Pripyat is commonly called Chernobyl by mistake.

As for the 360 outselling PS3... 360 owners sure love their Call of Duty, I myself bought it used for PS3. Got a great deal on it too, barely used for £25, not bad eh?
I think the PS3 is doing better in Europe, no black friday but a load of bundles. :P
As for the 360 in Japan... It's still outselling the PS2 out there, ye?
dirthurts - It would take a lot of tweaking but I think the PS3 would be able to run it at minimum settings.
PS3 maybe has little RAM but there's other stuff backing it up... Man I really need to start remembering all these hardware words in English... :P

Indeed, MoH hit shelves 4 years before CoD, I also liked MoH way more then Call of Duty up until CoD4, then I totally shifted to CoD.
I might turn back to MoH if this one turns out to be as good as the old ones... Ah, Allied Assault... How I miss you. Plus I'm getting a bit tired of the CoD games, CoD4 was awesome, CoDWaW was great, but MW2 just left me wanting more... I guess I'll be getting more with Bad Company 2 and the new MoH next year. :D

As a former Medal of Honor fan (before the series became lame) I must say I'm hyped for this. It's been long since I was last hyped for a MoH game.
Even though this will be high on my list of games to get I'll must likely buy the next Treyarch CoD too. Sure they kinda copy IW but hey, if it isn't broken don't fix it.
I agree, Medieval 2 was a lot more fun.
I've been playing since Shogun Total War and I must admit, the Medieval Total War games (1&2) are my favorites, I like Rome, Shogun and Empire, but I just love Medieval. :P (I love Spartan Total Warrior too!)

Wasn't really interested in this game anyways, actually I didn't know about it until about a week or two ago. :P
I'll just let the hype train pass and buy it much, much later, I'm still planning on playing Heavenly Sword, but I haven't found a store with a reasonable price so it's still waiting... Maybe if games prices drop again in mid 2010 I'd finally buy it? I hope so. :/
pimpmaster - It isn't in New Zealand the games are censored, it's in Australia. Australians sometimes import games from New Zealand because they aren't censored there.
But damn I like both covers, though the EU one looks a little better.
bigrudowsky - Indeed, they managed to make a great story, some awesome new features (Nazi Zombies, 4 player co-op campaign) and get the MP right. (imo)
If someone asked me if I'd rather play CoD4 or WaW, I'd most likely go with WaW, don't get me wrong, CoD4 has an awesome story and awesome MP, but WaW has that too and Nazi Zombies. :P
Now think of Treyarch and IW as brothers for a moment and Activision as the dad. Activision tells IW to go build a nice wooden house in the backyard, he can get all the lumber he wants and take all the time he needs. Now when that's done, he tells Treyarch to build a house too, but Treyarch can only use his brother's leftovers and has limited time to do so.
Treyarch has so much to work with, it's admirable how good their games are even though they're such a busy dev. But of cours...

It's a shame Viva Pinata didn't sell good, it's an awesome game. Defiantly one of the games I'd get if I'd get a 360.
At least when a dev tries to be original and makes a good an original game we PS3 owners buy the game, whereas xbots will simply ignore new ideas and just buy Gears and Halo instead.
