I was pleasantly surprised that Lair wasn't on there, I think it became a pretty good game after the analog stick update.
"From a business perspective it makes sense and I’m certainly looking forward to some sequels, but as a long-time gamer I’d rather see new and fresh."
And what makes you think I was speaking from a business perspective? Like lh_swe put it "I'd rather get myself hyped up about Uncharted 3, Gears 3 and Killzone 3 than Agent because I know what I like in those games and what the developers are capable of (more likely to turn out to be something I want to play)...
Pretty lame article, if you don't like E3, don't watch it.
Nice shot at the Move btw. Wii Remote 2, Hilarious. /s
And sequels are a bad thing? I guess Uncharted 2, Assassins Creed 2, MGS4, God of War 3, Killzone 2, etc. should never have seen the light of day then? At least according to that logic.
Yup, PC fans are everywhere on the internet, is that a surprise to you?
The PC is an easy system to like if you can afford it and know how to upgrade and take care of it.
You are a disgrace to trolls everywhere my friend.
I'd say PC, you have more to do then on a console and a more diverse game library that dates ages back. (plus the ability to emulate thousands of games from older consoles on the PC is great)
Though not having even just a single console means that you're missing out on gaming.
That's why gaming PC+console is the best way to go imo.
Limited resources and time frames from Activision.
I'd love to see other devs do half the things Treyarch do.
I can clearly see why getting the CoD franchise all for themselves is joyful for them, maybe Activision will finally start giving them some real money and time to release their games, even if it's only this single series.
With Treyarch's experience I'm sure that CoD will get better again.
I don't get all the hate Treyarch get, they may not remake CoD4 with every game they develop but if you just glance over everything they've done you'll see that they're on of the most hard working dev teams around. (Plus with the limited resources Activision gives them.)
Having Treyarch now doing the CoDs sounds really good to me, even though CoD3 wasn't the best, CoDWaW was simply epic.
I have faith in Treyarch.
Nah, that guy is just playing Big Rigs. :P
All joking aside though, a new Twisted Metal would be great... Here's hoping they'll finally reveal it at E3.
If not, I'll be a sad panda... Until I see more stuff about LBP2 or KZ3. :P
That's the first thing I noticed, is this guy just posting something he believes?
I agree, can't wait to see how this CoD turns out to be.
Bu... Bu... But... They're exclusive to Microsoft.
Herp derp.
It's a shame IE is the most used browser of them all when Firefox and Chrome are so much better.
Read the freaking article you nitwits, you only need to pay the extra $5 for online if you buy the game used. The online code is included "free" in new copies of the game. Buying used games is just as good for the gaming market as piracy is (I´m not saying it´s the same), so I can clearly see where THQ is coming from with this move.
Plus, who's surprised that Ubisoft's doing this? Heck, they´re getting rid of paper manuals to reduce costs. Wha...
Treyarch are one of my favorite studios, I'm hoping Black Ops will be just as awesome as WaW.
As for either of these games being better then the other... Just wait, time will tell.
Listen, we aren't talking about graphics or sales here. We are talking about capacity and those games you mentioned? Well Borderlands, Fallout 3 and Oblivion feature huge maps that don't need much power or storage to begin with, it's just like a bit complex copy/paste. Oh and GTA4, it had to be cut down because of the limitations of the DVD, Rockstar themselves said so.
Btw, Wii does not use DVDs, Nintnedo made their own disc type for both the Wii and Gamecube. (S...
Pretty useless imo. Besides, people don't buy Macs to game on them, that's what PCs are for.
Considering Nintendo has sold about twice as many consoles as Sony I can easily understand why Sony would want to brag about it's game being in 3rd place in sales behind 2 Wii games.
Edit: These are US sales btw.
Interesting, so Sony was only trying to protect us with the removal of rumble. :P
BBAM - Too bad there already is a GTA London then, eh?
