I wanted to post links from Amazon but it's not on there.
It looks like they don't exist, yet I was holding the cases of both the prequel trilogy and the original on blu ray yesterday. Each was about $60. (I live in Iceland)
I was thinking how bad I had to buy them next month.

Only played MGS1 a little but finished both MGS2 and MGS3.
I liked them enough to finish them but they weren't among my favorite games.
I played the demo too and like you I was also turned off. I shrugged that off and bought it though.
Perhaps I'll force myself to play through it next weekend, who knows, maybe I'll find it the best game ever after that.
Not meaning to troll or anything but why does every site that praises MGS4 say "If you have a PS3 and not this game, you're an idiot" in some form?
I mean, I do have MGS4 but I personally didn't like it, I tried sitting through the first 3 to 4 hours or so but Metal Gear Solid 4 isn't for me. Imo, it isn't a game for everybody either.

I've always liked optimism, it's good for the mind and soul.
However, I do not believe that in 15 to 20 years everyone in Africa will have a high speed internet connection. Let alone even having internet or even computers.
They've got conflicts, hunger, illiteracy, crimes and many other horrible things to solve. Having computers connected to the internet is not a priority to them.

Well in order to dislike a game you have to play it first.

I highly disagree, imo Rome was much much better at the time it was released.
Heck, I even play Rome from time to time. Not saying Empire TW is bad in any way though.

No matter how much the people on here whine and scream about how bad Black Ops will be, it will still be more popular then 90% of the games you like.
I personally like the CoD franchise and I have high hopes for Black Ops.
