People love DMC, they just hate Dante's new look. I agree with them. The game is pretty good though.

Opinionated, but good theory. The Xbox 360 sold great, nobody was confused about which console it was succeeding. Why? Because of "Xbox". The Nintendo Wii is outselling all consoles and it follows absolutely no naming trend. Is anyone confused about which console it's succeeding? No. Why? Because of "Nintendo".

So wrong. "Playstation" markets itself. That's like saying the Vita won't sell because it doesn't follow the naming trend of the PSP. People buy "Playstation", they don't buy numbers.

I know a few people who have actually PLAYED the new DMC, and love it. My brother and myself included were initially thrown off by not only Dante's look, but his brother's look, and several drastic changes. But it's a reboot/reimagining. Get past it. The game is good, and people should give it a chance.
