I think you are wrong about it, no one working with HIS computer, like a writer, a CGI artist, a 3d modeler, a programmer and so on, will work WEB-BASED only. That's unrealistic. Or, at least, unrealistic until the whole world is covered with fast web-connections.

#4 : well, if you don't like bayonetta, don't say it's based on sex. That's THE BEST beat-em-up of this gen: DMC IV is HORRIBLE, GoW 3 is much of the same (but with less interesting fight mechanics when compared to Bayonetta) and new brands, like Dante's Inferno, are only mere imitations.
I'm not saying it's perfect, but BAYONETTA is not the crap game you are talking about. If it has a man for main chara, I'd have brought the same.

Totally agreeing with you: when I was a child, playin TUROK on my N64 was a pain in the ass, it was awful trying to aim with some silly buttons. Or, more and more ankward tryin to aim with an analogic stick.
Then, someone (Killzone / Black on PS2, Halo on Xbox) invented the AIM-ASSIST. Something that let you select the enemy and do by himself the rest.
And someone dare saying "MW is bettah on Consuole!". :O

What I really think is that for what you need precision skills, MOUSE is unbeatable.
But for analogic inputs, controller is the way.
Real problem is gamepad is SLOW in analogic input, obviously!

I love AC a lot. Since the firts one, because AC was a crappy game with a nice art-style, gameplay idea (the couple of 'em), and most of all with a nice narrative system. I liked a lot the ANIMUS idea, even if I wasn't so engaged with the Templar/Assassins idea.
