Hmmm, I don't think so. It's a great deal so what is there to be sarcastic about?
Isn't it? I'm tempted to trade in black one just to get this white one!
@maniac - so once you go on the internet you leave basic human compassion at the door? If that's the common opinion then we're all buggered.
Have you seen some of the reactions towards the devs? Some are far too horrible for me to repeat here or anywhere else for that matter. Ungrateful brats is putting it nicely.
@johndoe - I don't think it was marketed predominately as an online game, sure the online features were pushed up our noses during previews and what not, but it's still essentially a single player game with the option of going online, as are most games these days.
It's far from broken. Broken would be unplayable and bugged to crap. It's perfectly playable offline and when you do get online, it's damn good fun.
I understand your frustratio...
Unfortunately true. The sense of entitlement is astounding, the lack of basic human compassion is sickening. These people wouldn't march into McD's and threaten to kill someone because they're burger took too long, why is it different online?
@naga, sure we should hold them to a higher standard, what I mean is we are privileged to have online multiplayer, but let us not forget where the roots lie - two mates on the floor in front of the telly, not caring about resolution, frame rates, particle effects, just having fun
Depends on what they intend to do with each console, they could be going for console parity to try and stay neutral.
Exactly, we didn't give a fuss when we used to play Gran Turismo or NFS on the PS1, back then we were happy with local multiplayer, nevermind playing online with millions! Ahh the good ol' days...
Seriously? Personally I'd love to see some mods for this on PC, mainly star wars themed, it just lends itself so well to lightsabers!
It's not announcing the release date, more clarifying and easing the concerns of those who were worried that DriveClub digital would be affected by the server issues.
We know that you like to monopolise this site and use it as a mirror for DualShockers, just let the little guys get a chance and leave it.
No. There's been concern that the uk digital release would be hit because of the ongoing server issues.
There's constructive criticism and then there's just plain rudeness. Your comment falls in the latter and is probably why you only have one bubble.
Couldnt say it better myself. We never used to care about frame rates and res back in the ps1/n64 days, why do we care so much now?
I'm running a laptop with a 610m gpu. It's done fairly well an can even play tomb raider on mid-settings. I was going to upgrade to a full on desktop, but with these out, I think it might be worth just getting one of these laptops.
I agree with you on not trusting a review - to a point. With the A.I I think it's something people judge differently. Some might be put off by testing opponents while others find it good. I don't think it's fair to judege A.I as it seems to differ dependant who you ask.
That's always the best review! I always say try a game beforr you buy it, reviews arent worth the 40 quid the game costs.
@foxtrot - completely agree. It's sad to see so many reviews that get pushed out as fast as possible to capitalize on the fact it's a new game. To really be able to judge a game you need to have been playing it more than a couple of days to get a real sense of its worth.
LOL more coffee needed with mistakes like that!
Why? It looks great from what I've seen so far, Insomniac are making a big comeback with SO
