I very much disagree that it's a dying franchise. Sure the games aren't as good as the older ones now (In my opinion, the only good ones where 1, 2, and 4) but it still sells crazy amounts of copies. If it where dying, we'd see significant sales decrease between MW2 and Black Ops. Instead, we saw an increase. LOL. Ok Activi$ion, I'd like to see you go through with this. You'll have EVERY SINGLE CoD PS3 player pissed off. That means the next CoD that comes out, nobody on PS3 will buy it. It's going to have to be realy good to live up to CoD4. WaW was pretty much Cod4 with WWII weapons. Don't get me started on MW2 and how much they efffed it up. I do think Cod4 was one of the best FPS games this gen. There was just something about it that made me want to keep coming back and playing it. If they can at least match that charm CoD4 had, then ya, it could be the best CoD game.
Nintendo just freaking owned. 100 times better than Micosoft's confrence. Hopefully Sony does just as good or better.
I fully support Insomniac's decision. If they want to create a larger fan base by going multiplatform, I say let them. I just hope Micro$oft doesn't market it exclusively (Ex. MW2, FF13, ex.) Also, I'm still hoping for a Resistence 3 announcement at E3!!!
