Unfortunately no. The Subway deal's for the US only. There might be something for Europe in the future though. On the US PlayStation Blog, Arne Meyer said, "The other regions, like SCEE for Europe, has been working on trying to make some aspect of multiplayer available during the same time as the Subway MP experience. That hasn’t been finalized yet – so stay tuned and cross your fingers it works out!"

People forget that Activision where releasing multiple Guitar Hero games per year. 2009 was one of the worst. They released 4 different games on home consoles and 3 on other devices. They where:

The thing is, with a game like Portal you really can't have an AI co-op partner. It requires you to think. With Left 4 Dead, it makes sense to have AI since all your doing is shooting zombies.
I'm sure Sony will put the beta in a new game like they've been doing recently (SOCOM 4 beta came with Killzone 3, Resistance 3 beta will come with SOCOM 4). I'm gonna guess the Uncharted 3 beta will come with inFAMOUS 2.
What they should do is remake Halo 1 and 2 AND throw in a copy of Halo 3 and call it the Halo Trilogy. You know, kind of like the HD remakes that are on the PS3 (GoW, Sly, Tomb Raider, PoP, SC)

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't items downloaded on one account on a PS3 available to all users on said PS3.
For example, say I buy the First Strike map pack for Black Ops on my account. As long as my brother's account is on a PS3 with my account on it, he sould be able to play it without purchasing it.

Even in Japan, that's really sad when the 360, a current generation console, gets outsold by the PS2, a last generation console.
In all honesty, is this really all that suprising? I mean, a map designed for 64 players is going to feel empty with only 24.

I know more companies have to considering picking Volition up if THQ goes under. Volition, Relic, and Vigil are all fantastic studios. I'm sure all the big guys like EA, Ubi, Take2, WarnerBros, and probably even Sony and MS are all looking at these guys.
