For a Second there, I thought Patcher was going to be EA's next CEO.
People seem to be forgeting that the New Super Mario Bros games always came after a console had its initial install base.
NSMB Ds came after Super Mario 64 Ds.
NSMB Wii came after Super Mario Galaxy.
NSMB 2 came after Super Mario 3D land, yet it still hasn't outsold it.
This time around NSMB came first, so we will see how it does.

Nintendo has yet to release any of it's exclusives, and there is no such thing as bad publicity. If anything Microsoft as more publicity then Sony. Nintendo will be fine, most of their biggest announcements were made by Nintendo DIrect. Bayonetta 2 anyone? I'm pretty sure they will be fine in the long run.

The PS Vita launch and PS3 launch were nothing special, so saying that it it's launch lineup is going to be "stronger than any prior playstation hardware" just tells me that it might be slightly better than it's predecessors.
