The dumbest comments on here are the comments claiming the two systems look alike. Nobody in their right mind can honestly look at then and say they can't tell then apart from one another. One is tiny, sleek, and sexy. The other looks like a first generation VHS player. I lived thought the 80's and have no desire to do it again.
The PS4 is the hot girl you see at the bar who you want to take home.

I love the fact that Sony is so open about what they have created unlike the competition who is working hard to hide everything.
Also, any changes to the hardware will affect all games in development and cause developers time and money to get their game up and running again, some of which will miss launch dates. It would screw the developers who are already spending too much money on their respective titles.
And the xbox bro's go into defense mode.
PS, any changes to hardware this close to launch WILL result in a timely delay. These aren't games, they need months to produce them in large quantities. If M$ isn't already producing then they are in big trouble.
No architecture as hard as PS3, but X1 did choose an architecture that is harder to work on than PS4 without a doubt.

Actually the 30+ age group is part of the cite demographic. I'm in that 30+ demographic and know more than most people around me. We were the first demographic to grow up with video games and most of us still love them. Plus we are the ones who buy everything BC we can without permission.
I would probably like this even though I've never played mmo's before, but I passed on the first one BC of monthly subscription. micro_transactions would be better, just buy what I want.
Have you watched Mark Cerny's ” road to PS4” yet? Sony has made developing for PS4 much easier. It took 6-12 months to get a PS3 games infrastructure up and running, whereas the same can be done in 1-2 months on PS4.
I do have friends and close family with 360. I have played 360 and honestly can't stand the controller. I've played 360 exclusives but none justify owning one. But I've used dual shock controllers for so long they just feel natural, I don't look at them ever while playing or doing anything on the console. And I hate the offset analogs on xbox BC it doesn't feel natural. But I would never call xbox controllers better BC I know I can stand toe to toe if not do better if xbox...
Xbox controllers have never felt right for me. And I wish xbox would allow Steam so I could go against some xbox players to show them their controller won't help them when I'm pwning them on my dual shock controller.
