I thought Square was going for a "every territory same day" release with Versus.
Anyways knowing Square they announce release dates for their games a few months before they actually release the game and Kitase said that they will have more info on Versus XIII within the next few months. So I am thinking that RedDeadDestroyer is right on the money. Nomura always releases his main console games in the mid year (Kingdom Hearts- September; KH2 - March)

You see I would agree if the ps3 didn't sell anything last week. But as I recall Sony did extremely well last week. PS3's were sold out everywhere from best buy to gamestop to amazon. So I highly doubt that the 360 widened the gap that much if at all.

Ugh. Square when are you going to get it. No one cares for XIII-2. Just finish up on type-0 and Versus XIII and really tell us what's going on with those games and give us dates on when we will get these games.

It won't go multiplat and even if it does it will take a while before it gets ported to 360. So regardless PS3 owners will get the game first.
Anyways on topic, I think square's next announcement for Versus XIII will be a release WINDOW for the game. They might go all the way and announce a release date but with SE you never know. With most FF releases when they announce a release date it is usually 3 months before it comes out in Japan and 5-6 months before it comes...

Actualy I think MW2 was the worst. MW3 is the best one since COD4. It had a great single player, a good multiplayer and a great new co-op mode.
Unfortunately that will never happen.
Hopefully Versus XIII will change all their past mistreatments to their fans.

I agree. Versus really needs to get away from the XIII name. If square is really thinking about the money than this would be the best decision as XIII has a bad rep and having any FF game associated with that name will automatically lose sales because of the crap of a game called Final Fantasy XIII. Square should call it Final Fantay XV, but I would settle with Final Fantasy Versus.
Square if you ever cared about fans or money than you will make this happen.

I totally agree. The only competent director at Square anymore is Tetsuya Nomura. His game and movie direction says it all this dude knows how to direct GREAT games.

All in all, the game was good but the story was disjointed and didn't have the ending that the developers were braging that it had. The game doesnt deserve the name "Revelations".

For the sake of making more money this would be a wise move for Square.
Think about it: A lot of gamers were burned by Final Fantasy XIII and will probably not pick up XIII-2 because of it. While Square has addressed many of the problems of XIII there is still a stigma that the game wasnt great or for that matter good.
