Calls sony irresponsible yet millions of parents buy their own kids the newest cod, gta, and every other violent game every year with no concern what is actually in the game and then those same parents want to blame the companies cause they suck at parenting. I think you're right. Lately every time best buy, gamestop, amazon get new stock, it usually sells out in a day or two. And xbox ones are staying plentifully in stock. That really applies to me actually, I've been dying to get an xbox one lately for awhile now after playing a demo of forza 5 at my local mall but the $499 plus tax plus a game and that's close to $700 in one lump sum. Not to mention xbl subscription. It's just too much right now.

It might have more going for it but that doesn't mean ppl are taking it. If they were wiiuw would have better sales by now but it doesn't. The games it has now are really good but there's just not enough of them. The massive hype for ps4 and even xbone are killing any chance the wiiu might have. Again, I love my wiiu but I just can't see it getting any better any time soon.
Most ppl seem content with their ps4s and xbones at this point. I love my wiiu but at this point, I can't see a lot of ppl going for it when they have xbox one and ps4 to choose from. Yes smash bros., and mk8 will be amazing but other than that, I see a long hard gen for nintendo with wiiu.
Best PS4 game currently! Buy it now. Or get it free if you're a ps+ subscriber. You won't be disappointed. But you will need new underwear.
God I've missed this series so much. If Phil Spencer is serious about getting quality games on the one, he needs to go back to the original xbox. Pgr, crimson skies, rallisport challenge, mech assault, wreckless: yakuza missions and the list goes on for games that desperately need a next gen revival. I swear if he can get hd remakes and or sequels for the xbone, I'll buy one immediately.
Hey ea, how about new burnout and ssx installments for a change huh? This constant shooter flood is getting a bit old.

It won't kill it. It won't do as well as the 360 did mostly because of the higher price, and drm fiasco as well as a focus on media other than gaming. America will see it's best sales for the system while everywhere else will mostly be going ps4.
However once a few more games hit for it, I'll be getting an xbox one myself for the next halo game. Just like I had to get a wiiu last year for the new Nintendo games that will be coming out.

True but how can it be low quantities when it might be as long a year later from it's us launch? A person would think that Microsoft would have tons of consoles ready by that point rather than *limited quantities*.
I doubt it.
By then, most Japan gamers who want a next gen console will already have bought a ps4 and be playing games like yakuza, and other Japan centric games.
And what did you get for $499? A machine that can't even do 1080p 60fps on a last gen game, or even most multiplats, looks like a vcr, and getting pummled in sales by the competition? Me I got the most powerful next gen machine, years of amazing games to look forward to, 1080p 60fps in many games, and much more all for only $399.
