Really for me, it was between sucker punch and insomniac. Both are amazing at traversal and fast movement mechanics.
What Naughty Dog was able to do in 2 years with Uncharted 2 is nothing short of incredible. The difference between it and Uncharted 1 is night and day (uc1 is still great tho)

Wow what a childish thing for a reviewer to do!! To pour more salt in their wound, they gave a half-arsed game like Sea of Thieves a 6 while giving this a 5.
I meant the situations are similar, not the games. Both games suffered from hype and people thinking that they would be deeper and have a wider variety of things to do than trailers and promotional videos suggested.
Tbh, i dont know how anyone could be hyped about this game in the first place. To me, it always looked like it was going to be barebones with a distinct lack of mechanics/systems. It never looked any good imo from the start. Its like No Man’s Sky all over again
Yes they did! It’s even more impressive that it was GG’s first attempt at an open-world RPG and they managed to make one of the best in this genre and certainly one of my favourite games of all time
Brutal like your site’s review of the game. A 5/10 for this incredibly well-made game is so uncalled for. 5/10’s should be reserved for below average games with barebone mechanics. I know its been a year but this site is one i dont take very seriously because of that distasteful review

I hate when people use the word repetitive. All games are repetitive by nature but what truly matters is how developers pace their games and make each scenario feel unique and fresh. That along with solid game mechanics. Those three games do that all incredibly well IN ADDITION to having awesome graphics. Great graphics =/= bad game
