Exactly, something isn’t adding up here and I just wish Sony were more upfront about their plans instead of just giving us this lame excuse.
I have to be honest here...telling your consumers that "we believe in generations" and that "trying to deliver on cross-gen titles limited innovation in their new games" and then switching up just three months later (via a blog post no less) is a shitty move on Sony's part. At least MS is up front about the cross-gen nature of their new games whereas Sony is giving their consumers mixed messages.

We are not talking about Nintendo here lol (although they do make amazing games with the tech they have). Take a good look at ps4 games like HZD and GoW and tell me that they are not using the ps4’s capabilities to the best of their ability.......you can’t because the reality is, is that PS4 exclusives are among the best optimized and cutting-edge games on any gaming platform. But you wouldn’t know cause you probably haven’t played any PS4 exclusives.

Yes, this is what I wanted to hear. While I would have liked it to be part of tlou2, I’m glad that ND is still working on a sequel for TLOU’s glorious multiplayer. This should have been their original statement.

Yeah exactly, I wouldn’t be disappointed at all if this was the first game and I didn’t experience the gem that is factions MP. On top of that, they already confirmed that it would have MP which makes me even more disappointed.
While I do agree that not every game needs mp, factions was just way too good to not get a sequel, imo
Damn, that sucks. Factions was my favourite PS3 mp and I was really looking forward to what they would add to make it even better. So many memories playing factions late at night, this is really disappointing :(

I would love to see GG’s next game but I strongly doubt it. I think GG is fully focused on the next generation. Perhaps, a new Killzone at launch and HZD2 a bit later. Just speculation on my part :)
Agreed! I’m also hoping they announce Bluepoint’s next project (rumours are saying, it’s a Demon’s Souls remake) and SIE Japan’s next game.

Yeah %100 agreed, HZD and spiderman are two of my three fav games of this generation along with GOW and I am unbelievably excited for new entries in these series (I know they will blow me away) but still. I am a PlayStation fan through and through and part of being of fan is criticizing and not just praising. This is what separates a fan from a fanboy lol.
