Im not buying a PS3 cause all the games I want are 3rd party and also on 360!
and Im not buying the HD-DVD drive for my 360 because just like Blu-Ray it's not a proven format. Both are dead tech if you ask me, they are being concieved too early.
At least if I do pick the HD-DVD drive for my 360, I have the option. If I don't want it thats a hundred or so more dollars towards more games and stuff. Something Sony don't give you the option with!
Sony is so worried of what 360 is doing graphically and such... they don't realize this easily matches one of their launch titles!!!
Im still debating on getting one. Only reason I bought a gamecube was for the Resident Evil series. Mario Party was also fun to play with the girlfriend. I didn't like the new look/feel of metroid. Mario Sunshine sucked to me, didn't feel like Mario at all. Mario Kart totally blows now. The major games that I grew up with as Nintendo started to grow have just turned out to be junk IN MY OPINION. I miss the regular NES days. Super Smash Bros was and still is cool. He threw a party and 2 dudes walked out of his house with his 360. He went outside to get it back and the other 1 of the dudes jumped out with a hammer and beat my friends head in and killed him. The cops for some reason weren't able to find the guys... but the actual guy that did kill my friend walked into my friends wake and turned himself in, crazy eh? True story also it happened here in St. Louis! and it happend about 2 weeks ago now... just thought I'd share

Just because Apple and Dell are loading it into their computers, don't prove that it is a win for the format! those PC's may end up laying dormant for all we know, even the HD-DVD ones!
Just because something is marketed by a well known company don't mean it's gauranteed success! because look at how well known Sony has been over the years and the failed formats they have attempted!
and also coming to 360, thus justifying why I won't even invest in PS3!

and if the 360 core version was so horribly bad why does Sony feel the need to do one? must be because they realize it has purpose!
Only difference is 360 can be fully upgraded to the Premium where as the $500 PS3 you are stuck with that specific unit. With no memory card slots, ...

Im over 7+ hours in and not done yet. Im happy with how it's going. The expierence is unique, nice to play something out of the norm in the FPS arena! I feel my $70 was well spent on this game.

The people were flat out stupid and let you beat the tar out of them for their property/info. They stood there and took it. The neighborhood was in severe need of multiple different looking buildings, cause you'd get confused of where the hell to go! etc..

I freaking love this game and its originality. Not your typical run and gun FPS with vehicals, etc.. I bought the Collectors Edition for $70 and it justifys the price more than my Oblivion CE did! This game is damn great!!
Also I loved Condemned and I beat that in one sitting of a very few hours. Did that make it a horrible game? no because it was original at what it offered like Prey!

Unique ideas and expierences are abound in this game... I love it! but I also loved Doom 3, not so much Quake... may have somewhat of the same appearance but it gives a new expierence to the first person arena, and it's fresh... I dig it, and the Collectors Edition I think gives so much for the money... HOLY SH!T.
You have to have something to dip into the younger audience! and the younger audience is just as big as adult if not bigger! why do you think Nintendo's products are so huge?

Look at how many systems and stuff SEGA put out and tanked out! they put out more systems/system add-on's than Nintendo and look where it landed them. I could be anyone. Money for a company is like blood for people. Losing money is like losing blood. Lose too much money you lose plenty of things you have that are dependant on the flow. Lose too much blood you die. Same configuration!
I grew up with Nintendo since the regular NES so their B/C is more appealing to me. As huge of a fan I am of Xbox. Neither Sony or Microsoft have accompolished anything near Nintendo, yet alone been in the videogame biz as long!
