Superior or not I have a ps3 so i am getting it for ps3. I doubt I would be motivated to get DLC if the option was available especially since I never finished a GTA game. 360 & PS3 owners will all enjoy the game thats all thats it. May the fanboys and kiddies bicker while the gamers enjoy games.
i understand why Sony are taking more time but damn why do they keep teasing people with screenshots, videos and announcements if they cannot keep deadlines. its cool to create hype but they are starting to aggravate their fanbase more than anything. that being said its better to wait until something is ready to ship than have something release 1 year earlier than it should and be broken (*cough* xbox360 *cough*). At least gta4, mgs4 and soul calibur 4 will keep me busy during the summer.
i believe this is one of those case of artist's need for perfection being misquoted and misunderstood.
From the screenshots it would seem this game is the exact same game as the one on the 360. Is it or not?
Heavenly Sword never got the credit it deserved due to its short length and word got out quick about it. I found the game had an amazing story and had great potential overall as a series. But wtf?!? Killing Nariko was the downfall of this series as she is what made the game what it was. I don't get the whole idea of killing a character that had so much potential to become a franchise figure. I loved the game BUT this whole male lead character idea will flop unless they really make a good job...
I think this is their way of nickle and diming the burst limit series by coming out with a new one each year or two then adding new characters and giving us the impression we are getting more out of the next game in the series when the old budokai and tenkaichi series had all those characters and then some. Pathetic. I am soooooooo forgetting about this game....

Where is this coming from again?!? Some guy on the web says Sony has big announcement at E3. Whoopidooo! Does the person that stated this have any credentials or is just stating the obvious without any proof. Come on man. This cannot be classified as news..... N4G needs to make a gossip side site for links like this. Then again, I can be wrong about whoever wrote this...
MS want to get rid of the current premium 20GB sku available in stores as much as possible before releasing the 60GB premium SKU in April when GTAIV comes out. Notice how MS stated how their supply problem should be over in April. And with those downloadable content for GTAIV 360 version, MS will want to introduce the new SKU with a bigger hard drive to entice prospective 360 owners.
To naysayers, keep in mind this. if there are 2 premium SKUs.... what will be the price of the 6...
I agree. It would be cool if the story took place 100 to 500 years later . The 1st game would add to the legend of the heavenly sword. The main character should remain a girl. If its Kai (if its only 10 years later) she needs a drastic personality change because she was ok only as a side character not a main one. They should make Kai more mature and become a new and improved Nariko in a weird sort of Nariko's spirit now lives through Kai deal without it being too corny.
Crazy question.... are arcade owners able to put downloadable content on the memory card of the 360 for games in general or do you absolutely need a Hard Drive? Honestly, I was just curious since I own a PS3.
The xbox 360 version will sale more because of the larger install base and downloadable content.
However, the number of consoles sold because of GTA4 will work in Sony's favor by far as a good chunk for the gta4-360 sales will be to already established 360 owners. MS can advertise as much as they want but in the end a good chunk of the GTA crowd are PS2 owners waiting to purchase a hd console and fans of Metal Gear Solid and/or Grand Turismo and with those games on the way around...
horrriiible.... come on Sony. I think its time i get a xbox 360 at least their weekly updates tend to be decent.
Ok... i don't get this.... Ms thinks they can battle the Ps3 with another alien/military shooter game. Problem is ms is pretty much maxed out on the hardcore shooter crowd. They should come out with something other than freaking shooters.
Digital downloads sound cool but I have two questions?
1) Are HD movie downloads the same quality as blue-ray 1080p movies?
and
2) Can you purchase an HD movie download to keep NOT just to rent in case you want to keep a collection of movies on your hard drive?
Some people like to have a collection of movies and I believe you can only rent not purchase movies to keep them.

Hilary was harsh about how the ps3 came into the playing field in this gen and is harsh about how the 360 will leave the playing field in this gen. He just stated harsh truths on each side. Just stomach it and grow up. Nobody's perfect.
This game looks like an action packed sci-fi gta. It looks more interesting than gta but truth be told gta most likely will have more substance to it than this. I just hope we don't have another assassin's creed on our hands (e.g. game with amazing potential but under-delivers).
I totally with Hill... it makes total sense. Although I can afford all three consoles i made an educated and long-term decision in terms of what consoles I wanted to purchase and decided to go with the PS3. Better multimedia / gaming console overall no matter what anyone says. In 2-3 years from now MS will drop their next console and that strategy will bite them in the ass even if it is 3 times the power of the PS3 (hard to imagine that). This console cycle will be longer than everyone expect...
Based on the way multiplatform games have been reviewed this generation, people need to just accept the PS3 version is more technically refined and kill all these fanboyist double standards.
