Ofcourse the ssd which is located directly on the motherboard isn't exchangable by consumers. I'm obviously talking about the expansion slot which allows different regular ssd, which later on be widely available from loads of manufacturers

Same. When the last gen started 4 of my family members had an xbox one,/1x. They were exclusively gaming on xbox since the early 360 era and what you could call xbox hardcore fans. Me and my cousin (who is a casual and only plays the annual fifa games and only bought gta5 other than fifa games for the whole gen) we were the only ones who had a ps4. But by the end of the gen of the others had an ps4/pro and one a switch.
