The source engine is probably a handy choice for those that don't have the money to get their hands on Unreal Engine 3 or Cryengine 2. This engine holds up even after six years, it doesn't compare to the best but with some good art direction plus someone who knows how to tweak things to your benefit you can still make the games look impressiv.

The main thing that makes me believe this is fake is "Weapon Upgrades" as I'm pretty sure that I've heard there will be different armorsettings but nothing in terms of weapon add-ons or similiar.

It is a Gears of War copy. Has some other features but I can't stand games where I can barely tell it apart from another. If you had to nail it down I would have to mention that Naughty Dog already has told everyone that the style in Uncharted 2 is a little more cartoon than real life. Not saying that one engine is more capable than the other but considering you were focusing on the facedetails I thought this was worth pointing out.
