...you must realise that a flashlight is more useful and durable than a gun?

As soon as Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo started entering the casual market they also started saying goodbye to the fanboys. They're a dying breed. Or maybe all we need is one more competitor. OnLive?

It's unbelieveably ignorant to believe they are this industry. I won't stand for that, how can you possibly stand up for something like games if you don't even have the guts to believe in the industry itself?

This is even more severe than the MW2 hacking. xD

Enjoy seeing that many rockets though.

Hey, hey. Just listen, wouldn't it be awesome if... if... if the screenshots were from the PS3 version. xD

I imagine the whole of internet would explode or something similiar..?

*beholds as the person in question flails his arms around and jump like a donkey playing Super Mario Bros while screaming "LOOK! I'M NOT A FANBOY, I'M SO AWESOME!" and then continues on to read the full review*

...I have yet to find a single title that looked much different in the pre-alpha version when compared to the final product (don't mention the PS2 version of Halo).

I'll wait until I play Reach to make my final statement but I don't expect it to look better.

I actually like Final Fantasy XIII... A lot. What's up with all of this negative feedback? Well, everyone's obliged to their own opinion I guess.

But, concerning this about inspiration from western games... I don't see any specifics about Dragon Age or Modern Warfare 2 .____. . They simply state "CoD", "games like Bioware's and Fallout as well" and "Halo". They've been inspired by the intense battles in CoD and Halo.

I'll say this, the b...

What kind of commercial was that? If that was shown on my TV I would barely have had time to react before it as over.

I would hardly consider something like this to be news. Not that I've been keeping myself updated with the pokemon universe but it's hardly surprising that they are revealing a new pokemon if you consider how big of a franchise it is regardless how long it's been since the last pokemon was released... captured?

The casual audience barely gives a crap when it comes to casting votes on "Game of the Year", I'll tell you right now that this will be a contender even in the audience version of GotY. Magazines, and gamingsites that aren't under the casual influence will also consider it for GotY.

How is this patch even slightly newsworthy. It's basically a bugfix... for a minority. Seriously, get your acts together people. Newsworthy are new maps, additional content or introduction of new features never before seen in the game in question.

...but interpreting your excuse at the end where you ask whether you said "want" or that you're glad it got poor reviews is only possible if I allow myself to think you wanted it to get poor reviews. Would you have been glad if it got good reviews? No? Then obviously, in this matter, you wanted this game have a poor welcome. Just because you can't take a sentence like "In my opinion you are everything that is wrong with the game industry today." you end up putting forth so...

It's not THAT hard to create a sexy character in Mass Effect :-/ . It would be one thing if we had like a million feature options, but as it is now this is hardly newsworthy.

Are you kidding me? I consider Mass Effect 2 to be a superior RPG in comparison with Mass Effect 1. Why? Because of the conversations and additional depth to the characters, I tried relatively hard to get to know everyone in Mass Effect 1 but it felt kind of empty, not to mention that the combat (no matter how innovative) was kind of sloppy.

In Mass Effect 2 the action elements have their RPG flavor but are much more focused and you feel like you have a better grasp of the situat...

I'd have to say that I didn't like Uncharted very much, Mass Effect has entertained me good so far though. He's talking about a need for games to become franchises in order to be recognised, but quite honestly, both games were recognised with the original release. The sequels are simply polished and by then even more people have heard of it, it's a natural step.

I did enjoy Uncharted 2, far more than the original actually. It's simply that much better. I don't know about Mass Ef...

The person who dryhumped him got the kill... That's the funny part :-) . I grinned to be honest, that's a relatively amusing kill.

...it is cheaper. I for one have bought a bunch of games for my PSP Go for a cheaper price than if I would have gone to a retail store. I may actually have saved up to 20 dollars or more when I get the newer games (39.99 dollars). O_o

Are people really having such a hard time accepting that GTAIV was and still is a great game? I could spend an hour sitting in a cab, stare out the window and just listen to the awesome radio broadcastings. Online isn't bad either, I've had some awesome moments there. Especially in Free Mode... when people aren't fragging eachother at the airport 24/7.

...It's a sad day when none of the comments give off even a trace of intelligence or proper interpretation. The article wasn't meant to be taken serious, why the hell do you think there are two versions of the same article?

...thinking about what defines a Final Fantasy game. To me it seems like the various shapes it can take are a little too many. If it's the story we're after +Cid and other things that we can recognise from previous games, then I suppose making Final Fantasy XV a FPS with a massive RPG influence doesn't sound too unreasonable. Not that I'd approve of something like that...
