For all the crying xbox fanboys who will not buy a ps3 or a blu ray player no matter what, I recomend a dvd player that upscales to 1080p. You will be amazed by the little difference there is between dvd and the hd formats. They are cheaper and play divx. Buy that until blu ray become mainstream in 2011 maybe.
What Michael Bay is doing is winning a lot of enemies if he continues to say things like that. BTW I loved transformers.
I dont understand what this war got to do with the console wars. I love fanboys "puppets". They are the al qaeda for their companies. Whatever the company decides they are happy! It means nothing for 360. Why?. Because nobody was buying the hddvd add on. Sold 200,000. Thats very low. I dont think the people buy or contemplated to buy the 360 for the hddvd addon. I got the hddvd add on because my friend give it to me for $20 and I have use it like 2 or 3 times. Same for my blu ray for movies(ps3). Like i said before, Im more happy with my dvd player that upscale to 1080p and plays divx.

I hope this war is over. But the truth is I was never interested in neither of the formats. I am very happy with my dvd player that upscale to 1080p and play divx. I got a blu ray (ps3) and the hddvd add-on(my friend sell it to me $20), and I had watched more dvds movies than hdformats. I think that it is still a lot of time(years) before blu ray become mainstream.

I cant wait for 2008 to end. I wanna see fanboys crying for whoever sides they are. Prediction: 2008 will be the year of the whinning fanboys!. Will be fun.
My predictions:
1. A lot of $$$ will be thrown to studios to support their format.
2. Sony and Toshiba will lose a lot of money.
3. Dvd will still dominate.
4. Blue ray and hddvd will fail.
5. Movie studios will be very angry.
6. A lot of players will be seen in the dump.
I didnt have problem signing up neither. The problem was playing online. Matchmaking in halo 3 was taking forever. Same problem with cod4. Couldnt play online, but I was able to browse marketplace some days.

hate vgchartz. But you may be right. My point is that wii is selling to a crowd that dont buy a lot of games (kids, casual gamer, etc).
I understand your points. And I was exagerating on the lack of games front. I do know the future is bright for ps3 games. Maybe even better than 360. My problem is that as an owner of both consoles, I had bought every multiplatform game for 360 (just because 3 best friend have the 360).

The wii may be the winning console in sales this gen, but if the attach game rate dont increase, i will consider it a failure in a way.
Fallout 3 may turn out to be a great game (and is one of my 2008 want game), but they have show almost nothing about this game.
Good point. Lot of people here dont understand business. People here fight who wins and all but all the company do is business. Where there is money ,there they are. Sony music promote the xbox once. There are different divisions in companies.
