The sales arguments are starting to get old/stale; mainly because people use the same rehashed arguments consistently. Another reason why I miss the 90's era of gaming - it was GAMES not "this company sold X number..."

Not that I agree or disagree, but I still don't know all the facts about this PSN pass thing outside what's been posted online; at the moment I'm on the fence about the whole idea for the fact that a lot of people are looking at it from one perspective and not all avenues. If it does turn out to be some big $ scam I will go back to classic gaming and stay in the 90's and early 2000's era; or join an MMO and play forever like I almost did with Final Fantasy 11.

I actually liked 98 the best, it had all the characters I used, and the slot machine made it more interesting.
I tried Xbox Live back in 2002, then again in 2008, then a final time in 2011 (Before the PSN outage) and from a "Gameplay" standpoint here's what I've noticed:

I have a 50 Mbps cable connection, and noticed I throttled at a certain bandwidth which really pissed me off because from what I've noticed it's based off the lowest common denominator - meaning everyone's on the same bandwidth regardless who's connection is faster ...
The game is far from dead, if anything people are actually coming back because they actually answered a ton of complaints from the fanbase (I'm actually considering going back myself)
FF11 was crack, I remember actually calling in work (Wal Mart back then) just to fight Gods, skipped college (Still got my degree and passed my classes) to fight Diabolos for the mission, and even took a leave of absence to get the Rostrum Pumps and the earrings from the after-fight with the archduke and boy a second round.

Why complain if you buy new over used? Borrowing/Renting I can see a valid argument because someone couldn't really test out the online functionality; however if someone complains just to bitch then do us all a favor and don't buy the game.

If you want the ENTIRE story start from the NES versions, then work your way up that way you have the entire story from the very beginning. A big mistake people make is starting from Solid then play the other ones; the NES versions actually tell of what happened up to Solid, then the Solid series go on from there.
This one and Honest Hearts are good ones; Dead Money I only played through once and not again (didn't care for it).

Has anyone confirmed how far the levels go? I'm currently halfway to level 50 on the PS3 version and read some players went past 55+.
