I actually miss the days of gaming before achievement/trophies mainly because I can play a game at my own pace without having to hear "oh my god you beat X game but didn't get X Trophy you suck!" My biggest headache is dealing with people who judge on gamers based on their score; not skill, dedication, likeness, but on what their trophy score is. There's one guy I work with he refuses to play a game that doesn't have 'easy' trophies because he wants to boost his gamer score; worse...

Personally 80's and 90's were about TV, evolution of gaming, playing outside, and having fun; now its about whats appropriate for TV at certain times of the day and cartoon network. I also miss weekday morning cartoons 6:30-9 with sat mornings 7-1 (if you count CBS Story break at 12:30) and the Cartoon Express from 9-12 with wrestling after on sundays.

What's with everyone wanting co op in games these days? I can understand having someone to play with but not ever game needs it, and I'm glad some games that do have co op its either side/extra missions or death match.
This is just my theory: I believe the ones who keep begging for co op are too lazy to beat their own games; I remember beating games that I wish had co op but I beat it and lived through it.
Is there mods who can IP ban these bots? I'm getting real pissed off about them
What sold me on the first Playstation was Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy 7, and Resident Evil 2 (I was 16 when I got my playstation back in 98) and in high school the first to have both N64 and PlayStation until 1999. I also remember being made fun of because the only friends I had was called Solid Snake, Barrett, and Leon Kennedy. The laughing stopped when I first showed off Fear Effect and Bushido Blade 2; one guy actually became my best friend after seeing Gran Turismo 2.

E3 08 did play some part in the hate because it pushed the release date of FF13 to 2009/2010 not because it went multi.
The big hate with SE is more because they say something then later change their minds or play off a decision like it was "planned." The rumor of 14 going to 360 I could care less about because I met some cool people who played the 360 version yet I don't want it to push the release day for "hardware" issues or some other type of BS.

I remember taking days to beat Bionic Commando on NES, Battletoads, Double Dragon 2, Ninja Turtles (First one), Zelda second quest, or even Streets of Rage 2 on Mania. Gamers these days get a game that if it doesn't take hours or overnight to beat its either a bad game or too hard. Part of the reason why I like Demon Souls because it takes what older games required; skill, patience, timing, knowing your job, and sometimes luck.

I tried playing the first one on 360 and personaly didn't care for it; seemed too slow to really grasp the story.
Just because 2 is comming out that doesn't mean I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon and "ask" for it I want to see someone play it before I make any final decisions.
